Horse Browser is unlike anything I've ever seen in this space.
I tried a web browser without tabs, bookmarks, or navigation – and loved it.
I have tested Horse Browser quite thoroughly and I love the hierarchical tab feature! – It is soooo much better implemented than all the extensions for Firefox or Chrome.
Does your browser feel broken? You're not alone. Chrome gets out of your way to help you focus on the content, but that leads to mindless browsing. The lack of oversight is exhausting.
Chrome quickly becomes a dumpster fire, forcing you to start from scratch multiple times a day.
Chrome doesn't have the interface for intentional browsing, leading you down distracting paths.
You lose information you saw just 10 minutes ago. This wastes hours every day as you try to find it again.
Research is usually a blizzard of clicking 'back' to find the last sane link. But I have not clicked 'back' in a long time with Horse Browser. This feature alone is enough to migrate all my research to Horse Browser.
Horse Browser fixes everything. Browse the internet with a simple sidebar and organise all your pages, tasks and projects into 'Trails®'. Trails® are nested groups of pages that capture the natural flow of your internet travels.
Yes, that means no more tabs, bookmarks or history.
Unfold, organise, name and add emojis to simple, meditative Trails® that fold away in a click.
Take control of your tasks with Horse Browser.
Create a Trail for each project or client and find documents, emails, web pages and invoices in seconds.
Check your social media apps during a break and close that Trail when it's time to focus again.
Add your favourite news sites, track breaking news in one place and fold away articles to read later.
Organise a deep dive into obscure Japanese gift shops for Christmas presents and hide the list from relatives.
Create lists of movies, games and articles that are beautifully organised so you actually want to open them again.
Leave important pages as reminders or create an 'urgent' Trail for things that need immediate attention.
Horse Browser is the way to solve the 'too many tabs' problem. Separate the trees and you get rid of the tab mess.
Horse Browser makes your pages work harder. Build lists, organisers and filing systems with clever names and emojis that serve your workflow, delight your weird brain - and push you towards action that needs to happen
Your bookmarks are already dead.

Horse Browser has been my daily driver *almost* since the day I downloaded it. As someone who loves outlines, trails immediately clicked with me and became incredibly useful to keep my browsing organized and track things in a way that feels less overwhelming than traditional tabs.
